The Election Integrity Network was founded by Cleta Mitchell to build a permanent, nationwide infrastructure of citizen volunteers dedicated to honest and transparent elections. Over the past five years, hundreds of volunteers across state coalitions, national working groups, and policy authentication groups have contributed their expertise to identify the real vulnerabilities in American election law.
The US Citizens Elections Bill of Rights, published in January 2025, distilled that collective knowledge into ten clear principles. The Model Election Laws Handbook is the practical, legislative expression of those principles.

President

The integrity of our elections is the foundation of self-government. The Declaration of Independence states that governments derive their just power from the consent of the governed. That consent is expressed through elections. When elections lack accuracy, transparency, and accountability, that consent is undermined. The work of the Election Integrity Network is to ensure that every American's vote is counted honestly and that every election produces a result that reflects the true will of the people.
